What if I experience network issues?
AIRe Link remote assistance is a web based service, whose performance depends on your internet connection all the time during a remote session. If your connection becomes slow or limited, AIRe Link can still adapt to certain extent by video quality degradation, i.e. lower image resolution and/or lower frame rate. Still if you want to avoid data transfer lags or interruptions and if you want to experience the best of AIRe Link service,
- You should assure that the network connection speed is at least 2Mbps (cca 300KB/s) and the latency should be below 100ms. You should not go below minimum connection speed of 0.4Mbps (50KB/s).
- Your browser must support WebRTC protocol, see compatibility for more.
- Your connection must allow streaming video to the operator, so the local network security must allow outgoing connections on ports 80 or 443.
- You should assure that no other application on your phone consumes the network resources (updates, downloads etc).
- You should assure that your phone is locked to a single network. If there are other networks and the phone switches between them you will experience interruptions during a session.
